How business information is checked
Business identity and address
The directory starts with WSIB published construction business information. When a current clearance record is matched, the legal or operating identity and full address are checked. Similar names or related corporations are not automatically treated as the same business.
WSIB clearance
A profile shows the saved result and check date when recorded. A certificate’s validity dates do not mean its status has just been rechecked. The map can retrieve current records and reuse recent checks. Unconfirmed, expired and not eligible records are distinct outcomes; an unsuccessful search is not proof that a business is closed.

ESA and TSSA records
Supported ESA licences and TSSA registrations are shown separately from contact information. Links open the official record so you can check current status. Saved registration numbers do not assert that a registration is active today. TSSA fuels registration alone does not establish that a company provides every HVAC service.
Phone numbers, email and websites
Contacts can come from business websites or named public directories. A “Likely Ontario company match” label identifies contacts matched by company name and Ontario evidence; it is not independent confirmation of ownership. Conflicting contacts are held for review. Missing contact details do not exclude a supported business listing.
Locations and coverage
Map pins require supported address coordinates. A listed address may be a business or mailing location and does not define a contractor’s service area. Location pages group businesses by their recorded address, while the map lets you search nearby locations.
Visitor information
Signed-in visits may be recorded with an account email and visit time for the owner’s access log. Anonymous visitors do not supply a ChatGPT account identity. The activity log and research tools are not public directory content.
