TradePin records anonymous usage to understand which trades and areas people search, which listings they open, and whether searches or the map encounter problems.

Usage records include a random browser ID and browser-tab session ID, page path, referring website hostname, selected trade and radius, broad map area, result count, and listing or contact action. We do not include exact job addresses, precise coordinates, search text, names, email addresses, IP addresses or full referring URLs in usage records. Search addresses are sent to the map address service to locate your job.

For technical errors we also record browser family, device type, a screen-width range, known error categories, same-site script locations and occurrence counts. Raw error messages, stack traces and URL query strings are excluded.

Analytics uses no advertising cookies. The random session ID is stored for the current browser tab. A separate random browser ID is stored in first-party local storage for up to one year so repeat visits and tabs can be counted together. It is not linked to your name, email or signed-in account. Clearing storage, using another browser/device or ID expiry produces a new count. Browser first/last-seen dates are retained for up to one year after its last activity; cleanup runs as new activity arrives. If local storage is unavailable, activity can still count as sessions without a persistent browser ID. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting. Only the owner can view the usage dashboard. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days, with cleanup as new activity arrives.

Sign-in activity for restricted and owner pages is recorded separately. Contact links open the listed business’s website, phone or email application.
